I have some fundamental agreements with this video, but I do think that there is truth in the adage that a culture is judged by the way they treat their poor. This video demonstrates that there is a certain amount of waste inherent in helping the poor, this is true, and because of that it is only responsible to minimize waste where possible, but more than that this video shows that the poor need more access to charity. The premise that poor women get pregnant and have children specifically to get free money is a bigoted generalization, but the sad fact is that the poor have very little access to assistance unless they have dependents, and this helps to perpetuate a culture accepting of negligent fathers and single parent homes. With more access to services and education the poor can at the very least have an escape route to the middle class, or better, should they choose it. Poverty is not a problem that can be solved, there will always be poor people regardless of how much money you throw at them, some people are stupid, lazy, worthless workers and incapable of caring for themselves alone. This is fine. If they want to drink Hennessy and smoke Pall Malls cigarettes and party in their hovels, by all means, let's let them --let's give it to them. It's better than them rioting in the streets and ruining our cities.
