The Chosen has me intrigued by the setting and the costumes. Not sure how accurate it is in terms of both biblical accuracy and more importantly historical accuracy. However, the main actor who portrays Jesus was born in Egypt to a Syrian father and a Irish mother. So, he’s not exactly white.
