Honestly, that's what I'm getting paid for as far as I'm concerned, mustering up enough awareness to say relavent contextual things and portray something like a civilized person.

There are already AI programs that can answer calls and respond to customers questions. They stop talking when the customer starts talking, know the FAQ for the company, and respond in natural language.
