It somehow and only sometimes turns itself on right before I do it manually with a button, so as I press I turn it off again, it usually does this two times in a row.

It may have something to do with the fact that manufacturers have done everything in their power to make it difficult to turn a cellphone off in this always connected world. Laptops are the same way out of the box. Also the reason I turned off gestures and squeeze inputs - too many false inputs were a bigger headache than help.
