How do you feel knowing that Trump is leading in the polls, especially in swing states?

Everything the democrats do is hypocritical.

The #1 issue according to voters right now is immigration, more than the economy or abortion or anything else. The democrats have been calling Texas racist and lazy for speaking out about the challenges of assimilating all these migrants, and when Texas finally starts sending them to sanctuary cities (places that officially declared they would help these immigrants) now they are screeching about the same exact financial difficulty, and stress on civil services that Texas did- except it's OK when blue areas say it.

Democrats virtue signal about how homophobic and misogynist Christians are- and then idolize Muslims who hold that anti-LGBT values and explicitly enshrine misogynistic rules into their religion.

Democrats can't stop talking about how they fight for the working class- and then want to tax working people into poverty to support a bourgeois class of paper-pushers who don't do any real work at all. All while bemoaning the working class for being ignorant.

There's no consistency or principles to anything on the left, it's all just about being opposed to whatever the Republicans are for. There's something broken about liberal psychology that creates contradictions throughout your ideology. The most hateful people I know are democrats.

Don't care. Trump openly wants to protect the constitution. that takes immediate precedence over any bad policy of Biden.

I know, that's my point. No democrat cares about being consistent, and as a result they are losing the election.

Most people don't like hypocrites.

I am consistent. I am not a Biden fan. I just don't want someone whose own special counsel says he's senile, to become president.

Most democrats have no self-awareness on the immigration issue, and immigration is the #1 rated issue among voters.

If we get a fascist dictator in power, who throws away the constitution, it will be because of democratic hypocrisy.

Maybe when people were having their lives destroyed by an influx of immigrants the answer wasn't to call them racists who couldn't compete with illiterate migrants. Smugness and hate motivated democrats, and now the entire country will suffer.

Again, anything but a fascist dictator. Republicans are now openly admitting that they want to destroy democracy and install Trump as a fascist dictator. Sorry, but you can't blame that on Democrats. Nothing justifies that.

Also, your life is not being destroyed by immigrants lol. Also, Biden: "Alright, fine. Let's close the border. Here' the bill." Republicans: "Trump said not to pass it so he can pass it and look good. Sorry, Biden, but we will not pass it." That literally just happened.

Anything but being a decent person for the many years leading up to this point.

> Republicans are now openly admitting that they want to destroy democracy and install Trump as a fascist dictator. Sorry, but you can't blame that on Democrats. Nothing justifies that.

This doesn't happen in a vacuum. 51% of the population oppressing the other 49% is "democracy" but it's morally wrong, and it's exactly what Democrats have been doing.

Act like immoral hypocrites who judge people based on race and sex, and people will eventually react. A strongman who understands simple moral principles and cares about following sound economic principles is far better than a candidate supported by the mob who wants to punish people on the wrong side of his idpol.

Communities are paying very high costs because of immigration, among other democratic policies. Some people have died because of this.

> Also, Biden: "Alright, fine. Let's close the border. Here' the bill." Republicans: "Trump said not to pass it so he can pass it and look good. Sorry, Biden, but we will not pass it." That literally just happened.

It's a terrible bill, and the Republicans know better than to just look at the name.

It literally is the same bill the Republicans wanted. They only opposed it because their cult leader told them to not pass it. Man, you are brainwashed.

I'd rather have a benevolent dictator than a senile and immoral tyrant elected by a mob.

> It literally is the same bill the Republicans wanted. They only opposed it because their cult leader told them to not pass it. Man, you are brainwashed.

Much of the Republican party is compromised by people who only care about their own profits, and making peace with the corrupt democrats for their own convenience. The actual patriots hate this bill for its own faults.

I wouldn't be OK with it, but I'd prefer it over a much worse alternative.

There are countries with unelected leaders doing very well, and there are true democracies struggling with several big *avoidable* issues.

If you want a leader that promotes racism, sexism, and economic policies that make us all poorer then you are the fool.

I gave reasons for my position, and you just name called over and over. You clearly don't want a rational discussion at all.

1 informed opinion is worth 100 people in the mob mindlessly voting for the candidate that promises to give free money to their tribe.

Except for the fact they introduced a bill and republicans killed it because they don’t actually give a fuck about anything huh

1. It doesn't close the border to illegals
2. It claims to grant the president temporary powers which he should already permanently have
3. It wastes money on Ukraine, Gaza and the West Bank
4. Sleepy Joe

Anonymous H joined in and replied with this 1 year ago, 37 minutes later, 12 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,286,742

The biggest red flag about Joe on the border is he made 94 executive orders within his first 100 days weakening the border. Halting deportations, stopping remain in Mexico, halting construction on physical border security including fencing and digital, video, and aerial surveillance.

He can simply undue his orders. His hands aren’t tied. Customs and Border Patrol and ICE are under his direct authority. He doesn’t need congress to do anything. Some of the stuff in the bill would improve the situation but he is using the bill as leverage for Ukraine and Israel funding.
