What a douche. Its not what I would expect from the author of Ender's Game. Did he have a religious conversion? I guess I didn't pick up on any of this in Ender'S Game. His parents mentioned being christians at one point, but it didn't seem to be that big a deal when I read it.

Orson Scott Card is really Mormon. This is pretty obvious in some of his novels and short stories. (A Planet Called Treason, The Homecoming saga, and the Alvin Maker series are a few that come to mind immediately)

I don't know, but from what i've heard, he's been that way since the 80's when he entered the sci-fi scene.
I still consider him to be an ass, though. Orson Scott Card used to flex some sort of mafia connections to keep people from talking about him... when someone had something negative to say about him he would harass them about having a vendetta against him and tended to go full retard on people. Sure, there were politics at hand.. you don't win literary awards without playing the game, but some would say that Orson went too far. You might even say that he crossed the line.

Here is a description of Anti social personality disorder from wikipedia. I believe that most serial killers would fit these terms.
A) There is a pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others occurring since age 15 years, as indicated by three or more of the following:

I think that if they could emphasize with their victims, they wouldn't murder them. One exception are "Angels of Death", which are nurses who murder sick and elderly patients. Often they feel like they are doing the people are favor by ending their pain.
