It's about a haunted swimming pool. And it's blatantly obvious to everyone that it's haunted. And the film never addresses why the aforementioned everyone doesn't just stop swimming in it, or else simply drain it of water. This is the most easily-avoided threat in the history of horror cinema.
Dumbest shit ever, and I've seen Gingerdead Man 2: Passion of the Crust.

I should also mention that the 'demon' in this movie is confined to the pool. Thus, it's the first horror film ever made in which someone could stand on a diving board and literally piss on the monster and there's fuck-all it could do about it. The movie missed a golden opportunity to be a pretty great comedy.
