Here's something I used to do when I was single and went out to bars every night. I would talk to a girl and make a move, and she'd say, "I have a boyfriend." I would smile and say half-jokingly, "Yeah, but he's an asshole." Half the time, it worked. She would say, "Yeah, he really is," then keep talking to me, etc.
