Are you so autistic that you cannot fathom him moving the front cushion before he drives?

Apparently not.

Individuals with Sensory-Processing-Disorder-Autism-Spectrum-Disorder (SPD-ASD) may exhibit difficulties in perceiving object motion, a phenomenon attributed to Visual-Processing-Deficits (VPDs) and Sensory-Integration-Impairments (SIIs. These challenges can be attributed to disruptions in their neuroanatomical structures, resulting in a compromised understanding of fundamental physics concepts. Deficits in Visual-Tracking (VT), Visual-Spatial-Perception (VSP), and Object-Perception (OP) may further exacerbate their struggles in comprehending the movement of objects in their environment. This limited understanding of object motion can impede their perception of Cause-Effect (C-E) relationships, complicating their ability to grasp dynamic processes. Interventions aimed at improving Sensory-Integration (SI), Cognitive-Rehabilitation (CR), and Executive-Functioning (EF) have shown promise in enhancing individuals with SPD-ASD's comprehension of object motion. By addressing these core deficits, individuals may experience improvements in their cognitive abilities and overall object motion perception.
