First, he wins the election. Of course, he can pardon himself at that point. But what if that is challenged in the future, or the Swamp finds some other muck to throw?
Therefore, trump should use an Executive Order to establish "Pardon Coupons". When redeemed, these coupons pardon the accused for all crimes that may have previously occurred.
Then, when the MSM pull their sneaky tricks, all trump has to do is hand over the coupon.
