It’s the first one I’ve had since I was a kid. I’ve always heard that a man should wear a watch but never followed it until something clicked the other day so I did a little bit of research and decided to go with a Timex.
The strap is just shitty genuine leather, but I plan to upgrade and get a full grain leather strap.

The jacket was nice until I got into a car wreck and the airbag ruined the left sleeve. It’s a Columbia jacket. Spring is coming so I won’t need a jacket until next winter, but I plan to replace it.

Must've been one hell of a car wreck to have turned a nice jacket into whatever cheap fleece shit you're wearing. In my house we don't wear plastic as clothing.
It looks like wherever you are isn't that cold since you're wearing plastic-ware, so maybe you're fine sticking with cotton. I personally always prefer 100% wool either merino, cashmere, angora, or baby alpaca. They deal with moisture well and are a lot better at being comfortable in a much wider range of temperatures.
Maybe look around thrift stores or on Ebay. You'll eventually be able to find something used for under $100 if you're persistent.
I would focus on this before fixing whatever trash that you've strapped to your wrist.

This has been a relatively mild winter. We've only had one snow and it's usually in the 30-50F range. I don't need a heavy, multiple-hundred dollar jacket. I like my fleece Columbia jacket, and I like my Timex watch as well.

As I said, you can probably find what I've described for under $100 if you look. But whatever, enjoy wearing trash. Your jacket literally looks like it was pulled from a dumpster, in more ways than one because I fully expect the tag on it says "made from 100% recycled plastic microfibers".
