Topic: Should I fix my MacBook or just buy a new Windows laptop?

I have a MacBook Air that I got brand new in the summer of 2020. I have used it religiously since then.

The battery on it is shot and will barely hold a charge for more than a few minutes. Meanwhile, one USB-C port doesn't work and the other one is barely working, meaning I have to keep it plugged in at all times and can't use any accessories like a microphone or a disc drive.

My question to you, fora, is: should I spend the money to repair my 4-year-old MacBook, or spend a little bit extra money to get a new Windows laptop (I'm thinking an Acer Aspire)? I will be using this laptop for at least 6 hours a day.

Disassemble it and sell each individual component separately and 3X your initial investment. Macbooks are always breaking so there's always demand for spare parts
