I have spoken to a lot of gay men on the internet that had varying same sex experiences as a child. I had sex with other children and adults when I was a child, later in life I have developed a fondness for males of varying ages... I wonder if it is common for shit like this to happen? Has there been any research or studies in this? Anything?

The vast majority of homosexuals are born gay, the same can be said for straight people and bisexuals.
It's very rare that rearing gets in the way of breeding.

I think you misread my post, I agree with what you said. I meant pedos are a product of condition, and most homosexuals are a product of genes.

Pretty sure I've read some stuff about homosexes having a brain that develops differently. As far as pedos go, I concede it is pure speculation, but it is widely accepted, and an educated speculation. With either pedophiles its either conditional, or genetic, which one are you inclined to believe it is? Hell bud, you have unique insight here, tell me what you think.

Seems too difficult to generalise like that.

Homosexuality used to be treated the same as pedophilia. It was considered a developed condition. It's treatable as well. Those scared straight Christian camps CAN work if the person really wants it.
It's known that the more older male siblings one has, the more likely they are to be gay.
Why is that? If it's genetic, why would a non-genetic factor have such an impact?

I did't mean my educated speculation lol. I did take some college level psychology, but that is just the speculation I've read from 'educated' peoples concerning pedophiles. I'm completely open to it being conditional, genetic, or a combination of both. Turning gay people straight is just silly, I reckon it would work just about as well with pedophiles -- not very well. Now that society is beginning to get over the stigma and myths associated with homosexuality, maybe pedophilia will begin to have less of a stigma attached. Your personal struggle with pedophilia made me think about the issue a lot differently than I did before, its just not something that gets discussed a lot, people don't discuss it and come to any rational conclusions, its just a witch hunt. Certainly its time for people to realize a pedophile and a child molester are two different things. Gays used to (and still are I guess) be ostracized as if they would run around raping kids just because they're gay, its funny (and sad) if you think about it.
