Have you made sure your multivitamin has been tested for heavy metals? It's a huge problem. Also the evidence supporting the benefits of multivitamins in first world countries is minimal to non-existent. Just get outside of mom's basement every so often and you won't need one. Thanks.

Just search in the news.

At various points when I have wanted/needed to use supplements, I bought stuff that had good test results from labdoor.

> Labdoor is a privately held medical company registered in San Francisco, California, founded in May 2012 by Neil Thanedar. It provides information on dietary supplements, which do not require testing by the FDA in the United States.[1]

> an affiliate marketing company

This is what pyramid schemes call themselves.

Yeah, I wouldn't place complete faith in them, but I suspect that any screening is better than no screening, since I don't think they're being straight-up fraudulent in their testing. There are also other unrelated companies that do testing too as linked from the wikipedia article I posted. Best to cross-reference.

The whole supplement industry is really questionable to begin with and there's not a clear way around that right now due to limited to no regulation in many countries, aside from not taking them to begin with. Which for most people is probably the best thing to do anyway.

Also I thought their affiliate stuff was like amazon referrals, which in itself isn't really a pyramid scheme if they're not being paid directly by any individual seller. I haven't really looked into labdoor that much, so don't take this as me vouching for them. Cross-reference everything. Question everything.

Since you'll be fifty this month, you better be stocking up on your vitamins.

Fifty. Years. Old.

Three questions:
1. Why do you think Matt makes every thread and everyone is him?
2. Why are you so obsessed with him and his age?
3. Every human ages and has no choice about it. Why are you posting as if something so natural is a bad thing? You might as well mock people for breathing or sleeping.

I don’t know if you are or aren’t Matt but no matter who you are if you’re approaching 50 you should seriously consider taking a daily multivitamin

just about every god damn vitamin study shows poor correlation with health and taking a pill. maybe vitamin D is an exception so far. then there are specific things like folate to prevent your kid being born with spina bifida
