Most just parrot whatever their parents and teachers said, with some ideas mixing between peers on a deterministic basis.Ever tried talking to one? Say something they haven't heard before and they'll boil it down to a couple nouns, forget the rest, and put out some canned response that doesn't really make sense, but has something to do with the key words you used.
Silicon minds are capable of considering more information, and constructing novel ideas by combining them in many different ways. It's a lot more complex than social conditioning, as humans need to hear something 100 times before it really sinks in.
The idea of a magical soul within meat is also devoid of an empirical basis. Electrical engineers can demonstrate the reality of electrons, but philosophers still can't get physical evidence for a meatsoul.
