Their reproduction seems kinda interesting and quite different than animals. hybridization and all that. Know any interesting factoids about it?

hmmm well flowering plants have male and female flower parts. some species will have both on the same flower. some will have them on different flowers. some will have them on different flowers on different plants, so that you could say the plant itself is male or female. at least we have vocabulary for all those possibilities. to complicate matters, a plant could have some flowers with both male and female parts, and other flowers that have only one of male or female parts.

hahaha. Now that I think about it, that seems like it could fit perfectly with how I'd imagine you irl. Although I can't say I ever thought much about it. That's the voice I'll read your posts in the inner monologue in my head for now on.
Do you grow any noteworthy plants?
My indoor monsteras have been taking off ever since I started giving them more light. That then inspired me to find a way to give my pothos more light and now it's also doing quite well and I have several vines climbing across my ceiling over where I sit. It improves the space like you wouldnt believe. Every work and living space should have plants sprawling along the walls and across the ceiling.

oh I think the purple passion could be fine for years potentially. I would put several stems in a pot instead of one so that there are spares regardless.

A lot of people say you have to get LEDs with the right frequency power spectrum, which maybe is true at some level, but I just got some fairly generic LEDs without checking about any of that and my plants continue growing as well as natural light as far as I can tell.
