One of my employer's clients reached out and asked if I'd meet for lunch at noon at a local restaurant. Although I was annoyed, I said yes. We're already giving them good rates on our services, so there was nothing more to discuss and the whole thing seemed like a complete waste of time.
I arrived at noon sharp and I see the guy I was to meet with stumble out PISS DRUNK as I walk in. He said to me "why don't we try this again when you're prepared?" I was like what the fuck?
I called his company and later talked to some of my co-workers and this guy is a huge fucking joke around the office. He only got placed in his position because someone else quit. The company decided to promote him because they could pay him less rather than hire someone actually qualified for the job that would demand a real salary. You get what you pay for. I suspect he won't be working there for much longer.
