Reminds me of someone who goes to a local Chinese restaurant, orders food, takes it home and dumps it in a bowl. He then takes a picture, posts it on Facebook and says, "I just made homemade Chinese (whatever the garbage is), and it's delicious!"

Taco Bell, founded in 1962 by Glen Bell, has a fascinating origin rooted in Bell's entrepreneurial spirit and fascination with Mexican cuisine. The inspiration for Taco Bell struck Bell during his visits to a local Mexican restaurant called Mitla Cafe in San Bernardino, California. Intrigued by the flavors and culinary techniques, he decided to venture into the world of Mexican-inspired fast food. Bell initially opened a hot dog stand called Bell's Drive-In but soon shifted his focus to tacos, enchiladas, and other Mexican dishes. The first Taco Bell restaurant emerged, offering an affordable and Americanized take on Mexican fare. The concept took off, marking the beginning of a successful journey for Taco Bell in the fast-food industry.

Reddit keeps recommending me posts from /r/tacobell despite me never going there or other fast food subs. I think reddit and taco bell are in bed together.

A bunch of people who whine about the price increase of Taco Bell items thinking that this also doesn't happen elsewhere.
People who also complain about their orders being wrong.
And people who like to show off their dinner of fast food like it's some kind of accomplishment.
