When's the last time you used it? Last time I used it must've been 12+ years ago and even at that time some of the more interesting sub-boards /chem/ or /sci/, I forgot what they called it were slowing down.
I checked back in like a year or three ago and it was a ghost town. Chan culture is sun-setting I think. As far as I can tell it's just being supplanted by reddit and tiktok. Not a real substitute in my opinion. Then there's the far right reddit/twitter clones, but those are also not substitutes.
I don't remember when the last time was but I recall it not existing for like, two years now. Last impression I got was mods not giving a fuck anymore, just deleting and banning on a whim. There was some rumor that kirt wanted it to die, he had grown tired of it and wasn't checking in for quality control. I was using it as early as 2009, mostly just messed around on b, I had a thread on the sexuality board, it was there for years.

I don't think I was ever on their /b/ and I'm not sure if I visited the sexuality board much. What was your thread about?
/chem/ had some interesting stuff, like people talking about what it might take to genetically engineer tomatoes or yeast to produce THC.
There was a lot of smart people there for sure, though i wasn't there to learn, not in a traditional way at least. My thread was very simple, I just asked if women liked getting licked as much men like getting sucked.
