They were wrong. Because it didn't help prevent contagion in the slightest.
Proof: examine and compare the data between countries that adopted social distancing and those that didn't or had a more relaxed attitude. There's no correlation with the rate of infection whatsoever.

We should have kept things open regardless. Everyone will get it eventually anyway and those most at risk have comorbidities. Everyone I know who died from the virus had heart issues, diabetes, prior stroke, vascular issues, or obesity.
And nearly everyone I know that suffers from those are still living, free of the rona, and never got the vaccine. The ones I know that passed, were young, healthy, and had no health issues.

That describes like half the US adult population lol. Obesity alone is 40%.

Absolutely not. The key would be to target information and isolation to suit their health issues. I wouldn’t want to precipitate a die off. I know a number of people and family members who died.

The only thing that could be inaccurate is the number? Why six feet? Seems like the number should be bigger. Like maybe eight feet distance. Six feet feels kind of close still.

Maybe, but can you really put a price on the safety of yourself and others? Everyone should be wearing at least three (3) masks and maintaining at least a distance of 100 feet. To do otherwise is to invite death upon everyone you hold dear.
You might say I'm being dramatic, you might even question the science, but ask yourself: is it really worth trading safety for convenience? I think not.

Well sir, maybe you should contact the CDC with your findings. Better yet, maybe you should stay 100 feet(miles would be better) away from people.
