Topic: Are there any low-budget episodic stories on youtube?
Anonymous A started this discussion 2 years ago#115,072
I'm not so sure what exactly I'm looking for, other than something off the beaten path and with an interesting story or take on things.
Remember when low/no budget webcomics to be a thing? Kind of like that, although I'm not looking for a comic.
The visual form doesn't really matter, it could be cheap southpark-style animation, a series of stills, or even low budget actors/set design. I'm puzzled that I don't see stuff like this very often, since it's easier than ever to create and publish and I know there's no shortage of good writers.

That's more anthology style, right? Not really what I'm looking for. I feel like once I finally get used to the characters and get with the atmosphere, it's over.

Thanks. I'll check these out soon
Branching from what I asked in the OP, do you know any interesting channels that are non-fiction or possibly non-fiction? Doesn't matter if it's staged as long as it's somewhat plausible it could've happened. Sometimes the mystery of if something is real or not I find to be appealing. examples of what I'm looking for are:

Have you ever watched anything by Soft White Underbelly? He interviews interesting people like prostitutes, murders, and a VERY inbred family
One man only barks, very charming imo
