I want to take a tour of the UK in which I eat pub/inn food. That is the point of the trip. Can you recommend several pubs that also have rooms for rent that I can stay in? It's essentially a Medieval style trip where I stay in inns and eat their food and write about it. Thanks!

You'll have to research it will in advance as most pubs serve basic food. There are plenty of traditional pubs with great food but they are sparce. Stay out of big cities for a more English experience and especially London.
