Not being tied down to emotions or a moral code, well, murderers can still have a moral code like not tolerating child rapists, but they aren't tied down to what society tells them is wrong. This is something I wish I could drop entirely, but I'm not mentally ill. I could save a lot more people if I was.

There are serial killers who have strong moral code that became killers because they were tired of society’s injustices. I suppose the word for that is “vigilante,” but it seems like real vigilantes tend to just be serial killers.
