You have the Paul di'Anno years (first 2 albums) with a slight punk influence, then you have what is generally considered the golden Bruce Dickenson era (Number of the Beast through to Fear of the Dark). Next comes the patchy Blaze Bayley period and then finally the Bruce reunion albums (Brave New World to Senjutsu).
And you know what? For my money the reunion era is every bit as great as the classic era. The band have lost none of their pep as they age like a fine Chardonnay.
