Text generation is improving every day. Image and video generation are improving every day. Robotics are improving every day (Japan's got us covered). Combine the three and soon enough the results will be indistinguishable. And if the results are indistinguishable, under what grounds are we to say there's a difference?
I mean, I, and probably you and others, deep down would probably still believe there is a meaningful difference. But if you think a bit further ahead by looking a little further behind, perhaps we're plain old-fashioned bigots for thinking there would be. Like thinking someone born with a penis is not a girl. Perhaps these ideas will be of a dying breed.
