Hi, I got want to sincerely apologise to you all for what I said in regards to the Palestine/Israel conflict. I should not have been as confrontational as I was, not should I have so blatantly supported one side over the other. I do not support genocide and I apologise for being as politically driven as I was. I hope both sides continue to strive for a peaceful resolution which I know can be achieved and bring about an end to the senseless killing. I will not be politically engaged anymore and in regards to this current geopolitical situation (to which I profess I had some ignorance towards, but have further researched) I will stay out of any discussion from now on. I am sorry I let you all down in the way I did.

Wrong. Saying genocidal shit isn't excusable no matter the context. Many of us were rightfully disturbed by not only what Green was saying but how he was saying it. It's good that Green has apologised and you shouldn't try to diminish it, lest you get into pretty shaky territory that leads to things like holocaust denial and other unsavoury and unjustifiable positions. If this bothers you, the door's that way ^

Complete bullshit. Even Kook was shocked by that thread. You know it's fucked up when that happens. In fact, I can't remember a single time in the entire history of minichan that she's responded in that way. That really says something.
What's also fucked up is that even though Green learned from this and came back as a better person, all you and several others ITT can do is rekindle this shit and enable and encourage whatever was going wrong in his head when he said all it. First of all, Green has a long history of mental illness. Downplaying it by constantly attempting to divert the conversation is not only unhelpful but unkind and belittling to him and all that he's acheived in bettering himself.
Secondly, you are espousing a form of moral relativism which I flatly reject. Not all ideas are valid. Many are simply wrong and revolting. Encouraging, downplaying, or dismissing genocide being among them.

Except that is not what Green did. In fact he did exactly the opposite in strongly condemning the genocide committed by Hamas terrorists on October 7.
