Chrome has served me well. I switched to Chrome when Firefox went from 3.6 to 4.0 and became a sluggish turd.

Now, FF seems decent enough again. I encourage you to also make the switch.

Save yourself the trouble and get Librewolf instead. It's the same as firefox but with all the telemetry, tracking, built-in adware ("recommendations") and forced auto updating nearly every goddamn day disabled. It's basically the sane defaults you would've expected from firefox 15 years ago.
