The purpose of hand sanitizer is to destroy germs. However, by promoting the survival of germ destroyer resistant germs, it ultimately is a self defeating endevour

It also results in weaker immune systems in people because they don't have exposure to germs, which means they get much sicker more often than people who lick snails
