The progressive nonprofit I work for would get so many ragedonations it would actually be financially better for me if Trump won. So I'd respond to a Trump presidency by raising my 403b contribution % and maxing out my Roth IRA.
Unfortunately the Orange Man is bad so the country as a whole would be worse off, but I'd be fine.

Looking at your chart, 10.3% earn more than $200k, so they earn more than double what I do. 8% earn $150k-$200k. So out of the top 50%, 18.3% earn for sure double what I do. 15.3% earn $100-$150k. To make things easy, let's assume that's evenly spread out. That means half of that 15.3% (so ~7.7%) earns $125-$150k, which is more than double what I earn.
Adding it up, 18.3%+7.7% = 26% of the top 50% earns double what I do. Aka the typical person earning more than me earns double what I do.
