Hot summer. In texas it's hit 100 every day since july 13th I think. 105+ most days, and for weeks in a row we hit 110+.
At least I'm in dallas and not Houston, houston fucking sucks donkey balls with their humidity.
Oh and I heard on NPR that we've only gotten around 20" of rain this year. I'll double check, but everything around me is dry, wilted, and dying. Good year for the dirt farmers here.
Edit: Yeah... 12.32" total this year. Down more than 50% our usual average.

Wichita falls has fucked up weather. It's got a deadzone over it airflow wise. A meteorologist friend of my dad would talk about it years ago. Said it can split up storms in the spring (meaning rain goes around) and holds onto heat like a thermos in the summer.
