This summer I REALLY got into Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
I even spent dozens of hours collecting every achievement in the game, including some from three of the DLCs because I couldn't put it down.
It's such a great game with such an amazing atmosphere.

No, shortsight, I'm saying that modern technology and the way people interact with it (including social isolation) is becoming the new normal. It's the evolution of popular culture, and what may have been frowned upon in the past is the new normal in the future.
My point is that you talk about "normal" and mention pre 1930... What was normal then is not normal now. Normal evolved.
You know it used to be normal to eat uncooked meat before homosapiens used fire. But that doesn't mean it's abnormal to cook our food today.
