The tanks of course horrify me, but what is perhaps evermore disturbing is that they have armored bulldozers at the ready. These are used by Israel to enter other people's lands and literally demolish their apartment buildings and houses, often while people are still inside. It is their primary method of stealing land. The existence of these armored bulldozers at the ready implies that this is more than just a mission to eliminate Hamas.

Bulldozing apartment buildings where civilians live is not targeting civilians?
They normally steal land by building settlements on the land, piping civil law and infrastructure through and then sending the army to defend it. For example, in Bethlehem it has been surrounded by settlements, so the people of the city are unable to go to their farms to make their money.

Is this the same Gaza strip that was occupied by Egypt from 1949 to 1958, then the UAR until 1967? Then it fell under military control by Israel until 1993, during which time Egypt signed a peace treaty and renounced all claims over the area (because it wasn't theirs to begin with). Then it was signed over to the PLO, and Israel pulled out completely by 2006. This included forcing out around 9000 Israeli civilians who had settled there.
That Gaza strip? If anything this is the opposite of stealing land. Please read some history and stop listening to the psycho-babble and propaganda you call news.
