Good Boy 2022

It's a Scandinavian movie about a woman who begins dating a rich and handsome man, who's pet is a man in a dog costume

It was okay. I had the impression that certain acts depicted are considered taboo by Scandinavia, but not that transgressive to Americans

Really looking forward to the upcoming movie Night Swim, it looks like exactly the kind of thing I enjoy.

I've seen It Follows, it's brilliant, but I'll have to look into the other one you mentioned.

I also like this movie called Faults 2014

A cult expert is hired to deprogram this young woman by her parents

It stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead who plays Ramona Flowers in the Scott Pilgrim movie

3. We Are What We Are

4. The Devils Backbone

5. One Cut of the Dead

6. Pans Labrynth

7. Tale of Two Sisters

8. Kairo

9. Dark Water

I'll have to think some more and come back to this

The History of Time Travel 2014

Very low budget and very effective documentary style horror film

I saw a trailer for that today on YouTube. Honestly, I found it more odd than scary. The whole premise seems to be that there's a monster in a family's pool? Seems oddly specific.

Granted, I'm not majorly into horror, and I'm not familiar with the people making it.

Surely you could just empty the pool and be done with it? Not sure that I am afraid of a creature that can defeated by opening a drain once.

Haha, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming that the monster is able to leave the pool. Otherwise you will indeed have a situation where people keep trying to have a swim in that pool people keep dying in, and the movie will have to contrive reasons why the family don't simply empty the pool to see why people keep dying in it.
