Topic: Merrin here. The new Exorcist movie is an affront to my sacred name.

Remember in the original movie when Linda Blair spewed pea-green vomit all over my good friend Father Karras? That's essentially what this steaming turd of a film is. Do not watch this cynical cash-grab shite, pardon my rusty Latin.

I think you missed the point. The exorcism worked when all the faiths worked together, and what really made it work was a father's love and fairness.

Because rather then proclaim the truth of the one, holy, Catholic, apostolic church it deceives those who are confused into thinking Protestant heresy is just as correct

Could you tell us about those? That's fascinating! Are you a real Catholic priest? I have an Anglican priest friend, but I know that's different.

I'll try to work up the courage to tell my tale. I looked the devil himself in the eye that night. And what places my soul in jeopardy - he looked straight into mine.

The shape of your thumbnail suggests you may have signs of low-grade cyanosis possibly due to a mild- to severe- heart pathology. You should get it checked out. People drop dead of in their 30s and 40s and it's always a surprise to those who witness it, but the signs are often there all along.
Whether or not in Dave's case this is actually a sign of anything, I don't know. It could not be, but it could, even if he's had this his whole life. These problems can often be congenital, run in families, yet also be mild enough to be frequently missed and only after, unfortunately, someone dies do the pieces get put together.
I hope he gets this checked out by someone, most ideally, in the UK. Heart problems are not something to fuck around with.

Oh wow. Yeah, he might get it checked out. I grew up with a friend who had nails like that, but he ended up fine, but yeah, I would check it out if it were me.

As I said, several. Are you looking to be argumentative, or is there some importance to the exact wording "rite of exorcism?" What is a rite, anyway?
