I've realized that I enjoy it so much that I actually like it when I wake up in the middle of the night, because it means I get to fall asleep again. Am I weird or does anyone else feel the same way?

Same. Even better when you wake up and it feels like you've slept a lot, and then you check the time and realise there's hours of high-quality sleeping time left. 🙏

Interesting. Do yours also look like demons? Do you ever feel like they're sitting on top of you? I've heard that's a common sensation, but that may be exclusive to sleep paralysis.

How do the landscapes work? Do they appear superimposed over your vision, where you can still see your bedroom and such? Or do they entirely replace your vision? Sorry for all the questions, I just find this sort of thing fascinating.

I'm glad that you are getting them checked out. Although I don't think they're confined to the night. I hope you are not intentionally or unintentionally misleading your psychiatrist. What is their current hypothesis about what's causing them?

But that doesn't mean it's psychiatric
They are going to do a sleep study and go from there. My fathers family also has a history of dangerous sleepwalking and they think ut may be connected

Sleepwalking is associated with a number of psychiatric conditions. This shouldn't be surprising since the brain gives rise to both. What types of mental disorders run in your family?
I highly suggest you see a psychiatrist and have a full work up. This is not the type of thing to treat casually.
