A decent air filter will give ~10BHP and vastly improved sound for little money, you sir are the idiot.

You won't gain any power. Filters only reduce drag, they don't increase air volume.

Like I said before, air filters only decrease drag, they do not improve air volume. The benefits of an intake are simply improved throttle response, and maybe 1-2HP at the top end, But those benefits arent worth the cost of the conversion. You would be better off spending your money buying 100 cheeseburgers from mcdonalds, vs buying a cold air intake, thats how minimal the gains are.

If it were that easy to swap every part into every car, I'd go the junkyard right now and put shit from better cars than mine and swap it in. Yes, it's possible to rig the shit to make it fit, but does it actually make it better for the car? Most of the time, no.

If I were to try and troll you with some car talk, I'd say a 4 inch exhaust looks cool. If I told you not to put a 20A fuse where a 15A fuse was because it kept on blowing, it's because it's a 15A fuse spot for a reason. Any higher has risk of something catching fire and/or blowing up. Also I would shove a sock in your air intake instead of a filter. Sure, there's a decrease in performance and it sounds like shit, but it will keep children safe while they sleep soundly in their homes.
