@previous (tteh !MemesToDNA)
Zelenskiy/Biden were asking 24 billion. That's been whittled down to about 6 billion, with Zelenskiy trousering a 300 million dollar taster last week.

The House has passed a stop-gap bill to keep the world's greatest and richest country just about functioning for another 45 days. It goes to the Senate now. Sadly, there is absolutely no money for Zelenskiy. He's gone from 24 billion to zilch in less than 2 weeks. Evil incarnate Putin's goal of taking over the Western world and exterminating global democracy just moved one step closer. Shame on the "extreme MAGA Republicans" for prioritising American borders over Action Man's new 4-pack of little green t-shirts and a fresh trimmer to spruce up his goatee.
> I love how, in the US, one tiny group of nutjobs like Greene, Boebert, Gaetz, etc. can shut down the entire government. Great system!
Actually it's the American government continuing to spend money they don't have that is doing it. Borrowing from China and printing off more and more dollars to pay for the loans is not a sustainable system.

That is not the issue. The US operates in debt. That's the system. Not saying it's good, but it is what it is. The issue this time is that the government had a budget ready to go, then MTG and her batshit crazy MAGA nutters decided to break that agreement to get all the stupid things they want.

Fuck all. I'm unworried at remaining undelusional at the truth; what prosperity, why make this post, why are you delusionally retarding us into believing the Americans even make bottom-place on the real lists?
GDP algorythms rule out growth as healthy for much of the equivalent of a second-sectorial which is like inserting a bunch of retardation-mills everywhere simply to have people wait and collect quasi-pseudowelfare whilst indignating misplaced pride about non-work.
For the American economy to take a collapse between 10 and 50%, and that's not on an index (by year axis) but just a pan-historical to fucking Babylon, we wouldn't be doing too bad at allowing the rest of the planet a demographic.
It might even deflate their 99% soup-kitchen-wealth problem.
