Topic: you know, even in Star Wars, Mark Hamil was a voice actor.
boof started this discussion 2 years ago #113,708 When I saw the movie, I was a little puzzled why Han Solo kept calling Luke "kid", when to my eyes they were both clearly adults. But more recently, listening to Luke's voice, it is clear that Hamil voice acted him younger.
Which brings me to the voicing of Rick the cartoon grandfather. It always sounded like some young guy growling his voice a bit, and not a guy who is actually old. It's always that way in the cartoons and even movies. The actors put on the bullshit oldy affectation that doesn't sound like a real person.

Hamill was 25 when they shot the first movie and Ford is 9 years older than him.

First it was Lucas, now it is Disney.

Star wars fans first got mad at George for the prequels, now they are mad at Disney for the new stuff.

That wasn't the first time they got mad. But this topic is about voice acting.

Glug, no it's not, what your referring to as voice acting, is just a part of acting where the voice is involved.

No, Disney didn’t either, but the fans did.
