When I saw the movie, I was a little puzzled why Han Solo kept calling Luke "kid", when to my eyes they were both clearly adults. But more recently, listening to Luke's voice, it is clear that Hamil voice acted him younger.

Which brings me to the voicing of Rick the cartoon grandfather. It always sounded like some young guy growling his voice a bit, and not a guy who is actually old. It's always that way in the cartoons and even movies. The actors put on the bullshit oldy affectation that doesn't sound like a real person.

Also found that quite odd. It seems from anecdotes they tell, he also used to call him "kid" off-screen.

Hamill was 25 when they shot the first movie and Ford is 9 years older than him.
