*they're
Yes they are. Sex is about biology, and gender is a societal construct.

What does sex have to do with biology? If anything that's anatomy, but I digress. You can't change your sex just like you can't change you're gender.

Sex is related to chromosomes. Gender is a construct.

Gender is constructed by the chromosomes.

No it is not. Many cultures have very different standards of gender.

So? Those same cultures kill each other like savage animals. Only culture that matters is the West.

That's weird - many vaccinated people seem to have caught it 🤔

Science requires that they not only catch it but die from it.

The vaccine is not meant to literally stop all COVID, just like the flu vaccine.
Meta !Sober//iZs replied with this 2 years ago , 4 minutes later, 1 hour after the original post[^] [v] #1,258,713 @previous (A)
So it's not effective?
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 2 years ago , 3 minutes later, 1 hour after the original post[^] [v] #1,258,716 @previous (Meta !Sober//iZs)
It is effective in preventing COVID and reducing the symptoms if you get it. That is what vaccines do.

Due to science, some people
must get COVID and die from it. That's what science is. It's a process.

So are you trying to say, the vaccine prevents covid? Or it reduces symptoms when you do get it(even after being vaccinated)? You're moving the goal posts around here.

That's what science is. Studies are done, and the expert consensus changes. Science is a process.

It prevents COVID in many people, but not all. In most, it reduces symptoms and duration.

isn't that just a tenet on one school of thought that came up more recently? I mean, we can say something is true by just making the definition ourselves, repeating it, and so it is true by definition.

Not really. Ancient societies also had varied thought about gender.
