An all-too familiar timeline of the fiasco:

Friday morning: Zelenskiy brings his Nazi mate along to the Canadian parliament, describing him as a hero who fought against Russia. Every single Canadian politician stands to applaud him.

Friday afternoon: Russia carries out 5 minutes research into the guy and reveals his Nazi past.

Saturday, The West: "THIS IS RUSSIAN PROPAGANDA!!"

Saturday, Russia: "No, really, calm down a minute and listen to us. He's a literal Nazi"

Sunday, the West: "RUSSIAN PROPAGANDA!!!"

Sunday, Russia: "You're embarrassing yourselves. Stop it and listen to us. You're offending millions of Jews with this nonsense"

Monday morning: "RUSSIAN PROPAGANDA!!!!"

Russia: "You people are beyond hope"

Monday evening, the West: "Weeeell shit...this is embarrassing"

By the way, aren't you glad your "free and democratic" governments banned you from seeing all Russian news outlets? Otherwise it wouldn't have taken 4 days for the truth to be reluctantly admitted to you all.

Proof that he was a literal Nazi?

Did you read the article?

And again, it absolutely staggers me how the default position of you guys is to instantly defend your new God Zelenskiy.

Not defending anyone. It is just that a Nazi accusation requires very strong proof.

Being a member of the SS 14th Waffen Division responsible for the massacre of thousands of Polish Jews isn't strong enough evidence for you?

If that is true, then yes, it is sufficient and shameful.

And having read the article, do you believe it to be true?

I have not read it yet. I will do so in a bit.

Notice also a common feature of the Zelenskiy fan club:

Zelenskiy: "Putin takes nightly baths in the blood of Ukrainian children because he thinks it gives him enhanced sexual powers!"

#SlavaUkraini crowd: "HE'S A MONSTER!!!"

Russia: "Here is a mountain of incontrovertible evidence that Zelenskiy is a corrupt and pathologically lying scumbag"

#SlavaUkraini crowd: "IF - and it is an enormous IF - this information that I haven't read is true..."

I agree. The entire Canadian parliament celebrating an evil scumbag they knew absolutely nothing about while praising him as a freedom-fighting hero was the most exquisite metaphor for their treatment of Zelenskiy.

What kind of clowns are these retards that nobody thought to vet this Nazi cunt before applauding him? It took Russia Today ("PROPAGANDA!!!") all of 10 minutes to do it.

The craziest part to me is just the historical revisionist excuses from mps who felt duped. One said he thought the dude was being lauded for liberating... communist occupation post world war 2? so... a nazi?? lmao

> Zelenskiy brings his Nazi mate along to the Canadian parliament, describing him as a hero who fought against Russia.

Wasn't it the speaker of the house who invited him in and described him that way? Why would Zelensky even know about some random 130 year old Ukrainian man living in Canada? I think the story is embarrassing enough for the Canucks without needing to editorialize the details here.

Yeah, I don't think anyone was really aware except the Speaker.

“No advance notice was provided to the Prime Minister’s Office, nor the Ukrainian delegation, about the invitation or the recognition.”
