I think because it emphasises my own comfort and safety. When it's raining heavily outside and I see people walking along while I'm in my living room, I feel pretty good about myself.

He did do something stupid, though. He begged the court for a new identity on the basis that he feared for his life after appearing in the Rittenhouse trial then insisted on giving a TV interview about being run over, revealing his new identity
