The one at the top left of the screen on the desktop version of the site.
It seems to change like every day or so and when I hover over it with my mouse, the alt text has some often vague caption where I still don't know what the logo is supposed to be representing or celebrating.
When I click on the logo, it just takes me to the generic youtube home page with no context or information. It used to be on google search that when they showed a custom logo and you'd click on it, it'd bring you to a search page related to whatever it is the logo was commemorating. I don't know if they still do that for google search because I stopped using it a while ago.
I guess they decided for youtube we don't need any context or info and everyone will just instantly know from a 100x100 px image what's being represented.
When I view the page from a different browser, or even in private mode the custom logo goes away and I get the generic one again. Same thing when I use IPs from different countries. So I can't even tell if the logo is supposed to be in reference to some event or if it's even just something related (again very vaguely, from what I can tell) to my watch history.
The weird thing is I've searched around and I don't find anyone talking about this, although I didn't spend that much time searching around. There used to be sites dedicated to documenting all the different google logo variations (maybe there still are), but I didn't find anything or anyone talking about the youtube logos.

I mean, what the fuck is that? Most of them I can at least tell what is being shown, even though I don't know why it's being shown or what it's referring to, but this one is particularly bad.

Yeah I really hate that the term ended up using Memphis in the name as the Memphis Milano art group was actually talented and created some of the most memorable design of the last century but sbah can you do

I can see the appeal of some of the Memphis Milano stuff, but it's a little too busy for me. Maybe a good style for a public space, but I feel like it's just not relaxing enough to have in a home, unless it's contained to only one part of the house.
I hadn't heard of Memphis Milano before so I looked up pictures and found this one. The look of it made me think of a 3D computer rendering so I clicked and zoomed in. A quick glance and I still couldn't figure it out, especially after looking at the specular red and gray cabinet in the back of the room. Anyone that's done any work in Blender knows that look. Blender gives this specular look when you're previewing a render and it slowly fills and smooths it out as it loads.
