This makes me think of some sci-fi book i read about this guy visiting mars, and all around was this dead martian language scrawled into the walls and no one alive really knew what it meant. Happens to be on the same day this ancient Martian cult was using the dead language to raise their otherworldly god with a name that was incomprehensible
