Mostly, yes! Catherine seems to have a simplified understanding of the subject. Many of the period symptoms require a womb. Her claim that it's just hormones is entirely untrue.
And what do hormones do? They're chemical signals, right? Even if your hormone therapy could match the exact hormone levels and timings needed to signal the start of a period (it doesn't), your body would not have the same reaction. Besides, you're on basic bitch California freebie HRT that doesn't even give you right hormones.

I believe that hormone abuse ebbs can negatively affect moods but I don't believe trans women experience all symptoms but blood flow
You may wish to further research what symptoms cis women may experience during menstruation
