Sorry, we don't accept donations! But the roughly ~$25 I spend on this place a month is surely a welcome sum for the good folks of Ukraine. @1,253,143 (Father Merrin !u5oFWxmY7U) <-- see here

Anyone got ~$578,500 USD lying around? If so, give it to me and I will start the registrar NoBullshitDomains.com with the following slogan: "We're not cheap, but at least we won't fuck with your domain."

Even more fake donations received today by you worthless, lying pieces of shit. I'm hereby removing the post box which has only cost tons of money and time and not even nearly paid for itself.

Look i gotta be honest I wouldn't buy a house with the money, I'd just invest it and rent until interest rates and home prices become more affordable. If you would like to send me $1 million or more instead so i can buy, I will happily accept that.

If I were saving to buy a house in the near future, honestly I'd just stick it in a CD earning 5%. If I were investing for retirement, a couple different index funds.

I know they say you should diversify with overseas stuff and maybe I'd do 80/20 US/foreign split but honestly I feel like since 2009 US stocks have just done better consistently lol and hate putting money in non-US anything.

If I were to live another hundred years, I'd invest heavily in Africa. It's the only place on earth with birth rates consistently above replacement. China's population has already begun to decline and that's something people were saying wouldn't happen for another decade or more. Even India's birth rate is now below replacement. I think we're looking at a picture where most of the earth is going to look like Japan. Stagnation and eventually contraction. I doubt places like India or South America are going to deal with this anyone near as well as Japan has.
But I won't live another hundred years, so I'd stick with US and some European indices. I think everything I said above will take many decades to be relevant. And who knows, maybe Africa will never get its shit together despite the rest of the world slowly committing suicide. Humanity will definitely have some dark days ahead if it doesn't.
