Charging UK members of the YPG/J was such a retarded move. It was never going to stick. Not while we were throwing cash and supplies at the groups and lauding them as freedom fighters. Made zero sense.
A superb tactic. 60,000 of Ukraine's most elite "NATO-trained" troops wiped out by a bunch of toothless methed-up convicts while the actual army prepared impenetrable defence lines that are now acting as meat-grinders for what's left of Ukrainian troops.

CNN are absolutely hilarious.
June 4th 2023: "Zelenskiy has launched his $40 billion dollar NATO-trained, equipped and war-gamed counter-offensive! Mark Milley says it could take as long as 10 weeks to reach Crimea!!"
3 months later: "Ukraine has almost made it to to the first line of Russian defences!!! Start jizzing everyone!!!"

Hey Dave, mate. Isn't it great that we hired thousands of criminals to commit war crimes in Ukraine so we can later deny it.

Russia sending criminals to die in a war sounds better than Ukraine blocking innocent men from leaving and sending them to the meat grinder.
> Russia sending criminals to die in a war sounds better than Ukraine blocking innocent men from leaving and sending them to the meat grinder.
Not only that but Zelenskiy is now saying he's going to get back all the young Ukrainian men whose families paid for them to flee the country and send them to the front line.
Needless to say, the military aged relatives of Zelenskiy, Reznikov, Shmyal, Kuleba, Yermak and Podolyak, who were sent to Europe during the first week of war, will not be required to return.

Yes. At this point we're basically handing out Darwin Awards to the dumb fucks who believed Boris Johnson and Ursula von der Leyen.
> >tl;dr - Zelenskiy is a complete retard who still hasn't figured out he's being strung along by NATO > > So what would you do if you were him?
Go back to April 2022, tell Boris Johnson to fuck off, and follow through with the peace arrangement to which he had already agreed.
By the way, have you seen all the reports this week about how the US, UK and EU have imported MORE Russian resources in 2022 and 2023 than before the war started? Funny, because Johnson's call for Ukraine to keep fighting was predicated on the West doing their part to cripple the Russian economy by summer 2022. Instead they're helping it grow.

> >There are conscripts, but men are free to leave the country if they are worried. > Absolutely false.
Nope, it's true, Russian men are free to leave the country, and the fact that you think otherwise tells me a lot about where you get your information and how credulously you believe it. Do you seriously think that if Putin had declared martial law it wouldn't have been major international news? Christ he hasn't even officially declared it a "war" you buffoon! Half my male friends have been to either Turkey, UAE or the Maldives on holiday this summer. Yet again you #SlavaUkraini crowd are utterly fucking clueless about this war.

I have family members in Russia that have been refused passports or had them revoked for trying to visit me. You're a fool to think Russia works by official decree and not underhanded tactics. It never has worked that way and never will. But keep spinning up the lies by the second. At least you seem to be convincing yourself. No one else here buys the shit you keep saying. What a way to spend a life. I would say I wish you're at least being paid well to spew all this bullshit, but I know full well you aren't being paid at all. Keep being a tool.
> You are not Russian and get white glove treatment.
99% of my friends and acquaintances here are Russian and the men among them have travelled abroad on holiday this summer. My brother-in-law (34 years old) took his wife and son to the Maldives back in June. Now by all means continue to make an idiot of yourself but I for one have officially become bored of your imbecility. I'll leave you with this BBC article from a week ago about petrified Ukrainian men who are desperate to flee the country but can't because Zelenskiy is threatening to jail their family members (usually their mothers) who pay bribes to help them leave:

You don't know any average Russians. You're like the American tourist who goes to North Korea and reports back how great the country is from everything they saw on their "guided" tour of seeing "real life" "ordinary" North Koreans. Take a step outside of Leningrad and get back to me.
I've lived here for almost 20 years and been married for 10 (this coming October) you plank. I emigrated immediately after university and have lived right across the country from St Petersburg to Noryabrsk in Western Siberia. Now toddle off and post a Ukrainian flag on your Facebook.

Alright, carry on, champ. I guess you have the whole world figured out. Don't worry about the countless Russians that are being denied the ability to exit the country through the Russia's well-known century-old heavy handed tactics. If it doesn't fit the official narrative, it means it must not be happening! #LongLiveChernobyl

I'm sure it's wonderfully objective. Tell me, is your Dutch media reporting that the Netherlands are currently one of the biggest purchasers of Russian energy right now? Thanks for "financing Putin's war machine"!

The Russian state profits on the sale of the energy. Russian bitcoin miners profit on the mining. Come to think of it, aren't economic sanctions cruel and inhumane?
I said it 2 years ago and I say it again now: America's goal is to cripple the EU as an economic competitor, and you clowns are just letting them do it. "Europe needs to stop buying Russian energy and buy instead from our friends the United States, even if it's 5 times more expensive!" - Zelenskiy.

A company rapidly (or "lengthily") exiting Russia means Russia gets a really good deal on your assets. A literal example of "go woke go broke"

Yes, but not alcohol companies from sanctions king Mitch McConnell's state of Kentucky. I'll also add that the major US firms that have 'left' (McDonald's, Coca Cola etc) are still profiting via the Russian companies they have temporarily 'sold' them to. It's a stipulation in the contract of the new Russian McDonald's that they are legally obliged to use McDonald's own ingredients, which is why it tastes identical.

Did you know that Peter Gabriel 3 uses no cymbals, despite being a very percussion-driven album? Bit of trivia for you.

@1,254,367 (Catherine !TGirlYJKXM) > American and British veterans are fighting alongside al Qaeda
Jihadists, yes. "Al-Qaeda" though? Some HTS fighters were transported from Idlib, per Russia. A small number of Chechens from AAK ventured there (taking a metric fucktonne of TikTok videos and selfies, just like the Kadyrovites). SANA (Syrian state TV) once claimed that al-Nusra members were sent via Turkey. None of these groups is al-Qaeda. It just makes for outrageous headlines to be gobbled up.
Ukraine aren't innocent of this: "There is much evidence of close relations between Russian special services and terrorist organizations like ISIS and al-Qaeda."
