Why? The constitution and bill of rights are full of compromises. They were highly concerned that their government would lead to tyranny... enter the 2nd amendment.

Wrong, they still would have added the 2nd ammendment. Do you think there zero gun deaths in 1791? By the way almost every state gun law is in direct violation of the 14th amendment
