I had several massive bouts of diarrhea. Now my anus is sore and swollen to three times the normal size. This sucks.

1. Get a gentle skin cleanser like Cetaphil for sensitive skin. Before wiping, wet the toilet paper and put some of the cleanser on the paper to help clean yourself without tearing up your asshole

2. Get a sitz bath. It's a plastic bucket that fits over the toilet. You fill it with warm water and some Epsom salt and then park your little tush in there and soak for 15 minutes after you have a bm. It soothes you and makes sure you're clean

3. Buy some Vaseline or bag balm and lightly coat your anus after you've cleaned it

Most of these things are at Walgreens and Instacart can bring them to your home
