Brilliant. He was marching his private army towards Moscow at a quick pace before, but let's ask him politely to show up for court and *fingers crossed* he will chose not to do that again.

Putin has launched an investigation into this crash. It was either a tragic mechanical failure or perhaps Ukranian sabotage. Rest assured that the truth will be uncovered swiftly.
> > Thank fuck for that. Took long enough. > > They could have tried him with treason and killed him legally I would imagine. Guess they didn’t want dirty laundry made public?
Nah. If you come for the king you'd better not miss. Prigozhin was a moron if he ever thought Putin would let him live.

Prigozhin was a dead man walking when he started, and then abruptly canceled his coup.
Getting an exact time of death is hardly news, we knew this was cumming.
The BRICS summit is real news. They are trying to dedollarize the world. The US exporting it's inflation allows it to profit to the tune of trillions without any overt violence.

I've been telling you all that planes ain't safe and you laughed at me. Simple fact of the matter is that this aviation accident has nothing to do with Putin, it's just the fact that planes are unsafe. And if you really think someone as well known as Putin could get away with murder you're dumb.

I can't believe that this is how Wagner's story ends... I don't know much about him but he seemed like an eclectic character. I don't know how one man ends up becoming a mercenary for Russia, staging some kind of bizarre one-man rebellion against Russia, and then being killed for it like he's some major threat. They should make a movie about him.

No, your information is incorrect. Wagner was one man, a mercenary who got involved with Russia somehow. He's dead now, he isn't under anyone's command now.

This is correct. Johnathan Wagner was the world's busiest mercenary, running the Wagner group all by himself. His death is a shock to us all.

What? Are you trolling? Wagner was an American guy. He somehow got involved with Russia and did work for them.

Yeah no matter what you think of that stuff Wagner did you have to admire his work ethic. I found out yesterday that he was also doing stuff in Africa at the same time that he was doing this Ukraine stuff too. He must have had a private jet I guess.

Putin offers condolences to Prigozhin's family:
"First of all, I want to express my sincere condolences to the families of all the victims, this is always a tragedy. Preliminary information suggests that Wagner Group employees were also on board. I would like to note that these people have made a significant contribution to our common cause in the fight against the neo-Nazi regime"

@previous (Father Merrin !u5oFWxmY7U) > Whatever mistakes Prigozhin made are now between him and God.
And it was generous of Putin to arrange such a meeting for Prigozhin.

The Kremlin has denied having anything to do with Prigozhin's death. Which now leaves me stumped. I really thought it was them. But since it's apparently not, who else do you guys think it could have been? Maybe a disgruntled Wagner commander?

I think we can't rule out a suicide. Wagner had a lot going on and he was obviously a very erratic man. It could have been a suicide explosion.

I think we can safely rule out those countries killing him then. Which only leaves about 195 countries who might have had a motive. Well, 194 since clearly Russia wouldn't lie about whacking him.

No rush! The rest of the world has plenty of other more interesting topics to concern itself with!

I like that they say different theories of what happened are "being considered". I am sure they are considering many ways this theoretically could have happened! There will probably be slightly less emphasis on what actually did happen, though.
