Chuck Taylors are awful shoes.
If you wear them you’re choosing form over function which isn’t wise if you’re on your feet for any extended length of time. I’m pretty sure they’re just canvas over wood with rubber toe covers. Obviously wear whatever you want, when I see you in them I will judge you for it.

I got a pair of white docs and they broke in quite quickly, and were $30 cheaper because they were white. I like them so far but I haven't gotten many boots more expensive than $70
